Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.

First off, nice job on the GNR Camper. I cannot stress that enough, I love the design of this gun. You got it dead on the mark for this. It has smooth lines, sensible placement, looks to be well balanced though just a touch forward heavy, and the slight plasma blooming between the electrodes is a very good choice. It looks active, sleek, sexy and dangerous. I'd buy it for my military... after testing of course. 9.75/10
The shotgun is... okay. It's nothing remarkable either good or bad, though the lack of simple iron sights did throw me a bit. Was there a reason for their deletion in favor of the rails? 7.5/10
The Cougar. Whereas on the Camper, everything fell into place nicely, here, it looks like a gun that couldn't decide what it wanted to be when it grew up, so it decided to be a bit of everything in one giant mishmash. I can see bits of anti-material, sniper, assault rifle, machine gun, submachine gun and heavy assault cannon, all thrown into the mix. The first thing that made me scratch my head... and then groan loudly, was the trigger placement. Based on common trigger placement ergonomics and some of the standard ratios, the Cougar looks to be roughly about seven to eight and a half feet long. That's a big gun, especially for something as forward-heavy as this looks to be. You have a substantial amount of mass forward of the forward grip, and the foregrip is right under the center of mass. Second, placement of the foregrip is just plain damn bizarre. I've tried putting my hands in their approximate positions, and it's always come up strange. There would be a lot of weight on the non-firing hand whenever you go to swing that bad boy up. Related to the foregrip, lose the grenade launcher and the secondary buttstock behind the foregrip, period. They don't make sense and make the entire design feel too busy. Third, if it's as long as I've estimated, which admittedly could be way off the mark, why the frell doesn't this thing have a bipod? I could go on, but I feel that I've addressed the most salient points. 3/10, and I feel like I'm being generous on that.
Finally, the Hammer. We've gone back to friggin' nice, and so close to perfect that it's almost tangible. It most definitely has that sci-fi look to it, and all the mechanics on it check out. Trigger placement is good, and I like the grip design you chose, very good choice. The balance looks good, with a sensible . I realize this is more a limitation of your program of choice,k but I would have raised the scope on it a bit higher, but otherwise, this gun would be a perfect design for a high technology RPG. 10/10
